At Middle Ridge we have two different worship services that run on a Sunday morning.
8.30am Family Friendly Worship
This is a contemporary style of worship with a mixture of modern songs and hymns. There is an emphasis on active participation by all and the use of drama where appropriate. The Youth and Kid’s program is associated with this service.
Sunday mornings during the 8.30 am worship service children and young people meet. We call this time YAK, which is short for Youth and Kids.
During YAK time we have a focus Bible story and have activities such as music, games and craft. The ages range from prep through high school. From time to time during the year YAK leads worship.
10.15am Traditional Worship
This is a more traditional style of worship which includes singing of hymns accompanied by the organ.
Worshipers from both services mingle over a cuppa or cold drink following the 8.30 am worship and before the 10.15 am worship.
Term Three 2017 Worship Series
• Worshipping Engages Our Whole Lives
• Worshipping Offers Us Fresh Insight
• Worshipping Transforms Our Ordinary Actions
• Worshipping Inspires Our Everyday Speech
• Worshipping Focuses Our Wavering Hearts
The series will finish on Sunday 3 September with a combined service as “A Sunday Together” where we can reflect and engage with what we’ve heard through Whole Life Worship.
We invite everyone to join us in Whole Life Worship each Sunday as well as through weekly Bible study groups, Facebook, YAK (Youth and Kids) and ‘extras’ in the newssheet.
Come and discover the connections between worship and everyday life and be inspired, encouraged and empowered to live all your life in worship to God wherever you are.
More than just Sunday Morning
Your faith doesn’t stop when church ends on a Sunday morning and we’d love to help you grow further in your faith throughout the week too. We have a number of small groups and bible studies that meet throughout the week for devotions and social activities as well as having a number of family social meetings throughout the year.
Still have Questions?
We’d be more than happy to answer any questions you might have or join us on Sunday morning and come and see our services.
